A guide to Healthy Eating
Healthy eating for Children
Children are highly recommended to decrease the consumption of sugars, including sweets and soda, due to increased tooth decay and the negative influence on the nervous system (Better Health, 2021). Children should consume fatty milk and products like peanuts with caution as they can be allergens (Better Health, 2021). Older children and teenagers usually start consuming fast food but it necessary to limit its intake and eat more whole grains, cereals, fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, and legumes. At a young age, children should start actively eating cheese, milk, and yogurt to ensure the body receives enough calcium (Better Health, 2021).
